Orchard Medical Practice General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

At the end of May 2019, Orchard Medical Practice will be taking over the management of Dr Solway and Mallick Practice.

This means that both practices will use the same reception desk located the front entrance of the building and staff from both practices will be able to book appointments and access information related to patients registered with both practices.

Whilst things might look a little different at reception, this will not change your ability to book appointments and see your doctor in the usual way.

Staff from both practices are trained in maintaining confidentiality and will work together to ensure that your health record remains secure and will still only be accessed by or shared with staff that need it for your care

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Andrea Clarke or Rachel Andrews  and we would be happy to speak with you.

Orchard Medical Practice aims to provide you with the highest quality health care. To do this we must keep records about you, your health and the care we have provided or plan to provide to you.

Your doctor and other health professionals caring for you, such as nurses or physiotherapists, keep records about your health and treatment so that they are able to provide you with the best possible care.
