Welcome to Orchard Medical Practice

Age 65+ years flu vacs are now available in surgery!

Ring to make an appointment or ask the nurse or doctor at your routine appointment if they can vaccinate you.  It is important that you have your flu vac, this year there are issues with supplies so it will be on a first come basis.

New Prescription Collection Protocol

From 1st October 2019

Due to new Data Protection regulations patients will be asked for 3 identifiers when collecting prescriptions which may include photo ID.

Alternatively your prescription can be sent electronically to your pharmacy. Please speak to reception for more information.

At the end of May 2019, Orchard Medical Practice will be taking over the management of Dr Solway and Mallick Practice.

This means that both practices will use the same reception desk located the front entrance of the building and staff from both practices will be able to book appointments and access information related to patients registered with both practices.

Whilst things might look a little different at reception, this will not change your ability to book appointments and see your doctor in the usual way.

Staff from both practices are trained in maintaining confidentiality and will work together to ensure that your health record remains secure and will still only be accessed by or shared with staff that need it for your care.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Andrea Clarke or Rachel Andrews  who will be happy to speak with you. You can find the privacy policy for both practices Here and Here
